In these 9 years, we have seen a lot of changes in the Internet and the K12 community, and I'm sure that we will see many more. The Internet has opened the world to the K12 community, and greatly enriched the K12 curriculum. It's like having all the world's libraries at your fingertips!! I greatly appreciate the support I have received these past 9 years, and look forward to many more years together. As an aside, how many of you remember or have worked/used any of the following [ speaking for myself, I have worked/used ALL of those listed ! :) ] - punch cards - punch card readers - wiring boards - Teletype machines - punch tape - entering computer commands by way of switches - 110/300 baud modems - cassette tapes for loading programs - 5 1/4 inch floppy disks - 8 inch floppy disks - dot matrix printers - Lynx, the text browser - Mosaic browser - Gopher - Archie - Veronica - Jughead - WAIS Thanks. <Gleason> List moderator ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 May 2002 07:31:17 -0500 From: Gleason Sackmann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: K12> Hit: multicultural games From: "JSchaffner" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Mon, 13 May 2002 17:08:01 -0400 Subject: Hit: multicultural games Thank you to everyone who sent web sites on games from around the world.
