After upgrading a small embedded system's net-snmp from 5.7.3 to 5.8, snmpd now takes a _long_ time to start up. Snmpd used to start "instantly", but now it blocks on /dev/random for as long as 3-5 minutes. This holds up my entire system startup unacceptably.
Is there any way to avoid this disruptive behavior? -- Grant _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list Net-snmp-users@lists.sourceforge.net Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
