It's unavoidable to a degree, with glitch art, livecoding, generative art,
net.art, etc. all having their own aesthetic criteria and critical points
of reference.

But if I have an agenda as a reviewer it's to treat art computing simply
as art and as a part of the ongoing development of art history.
