1 - I get more than the 141 Mbit/ on an old PII; 2 - can you check with lspci -vvx if there is a difference between the two devices (latency or such) ? The cards are built around the same chipset. I see no reason why one card could be slower than the other; 3 - please send: - complete dmesg and vmstat 1 output during test - .config - ethtool -s eth0 > which delivers more reasonable performance? If the cards > should deliver higher performance, do you have any patch > or any tuning tip I can test? Can you check 'top' output during test ?
