You will see on the page that I linked to in my earlier email that the job you need to run to get IPs is "arpnip", not "discover".

Add a -D to your netdisco-do command to enable more logging. Add a -I if you need more detail on the SNMP connections.

Should I add something else here?

When I do:

It finishes very soon.

My router is a Linux server, so I think netdisco did not discover it.

You should run the snmp agent (snmpd) on your Linux server, and configure it according to this:

https://metacpan.org/pod/distribution/App-Netdisco/lib/App/Netdisco/Manual/Vendors.pod#Linux-SNMP-Service-(Agent)
Is it necessary in order to get the Ip's of the devices connected to it?

Yes. MAC addresses come from the switches, IP addresses come from your router.

Thanks.

Have you discovered the router with Netdisco for the subnets that your
hosts are on?

Hi,

I've just deployed Netdisco from https://hub.docker.com/r/irasnyd/netdisco/
running under Docker Swarm Mode.

The problem is that I can't see the IP of the connected devices, I can only
see the MAC address of the device connected to each port.

Do I have to run some special discovery tool?

My switches are HP mainly, and some mikrotik.

Should I add something else here?

When I do:

[root@83ab70824f62 /]# netdisco-do discover -d 192.168.10.30
[482] 2017-06-19 11:18:42 info discover: started at Mon Jun 19 11:18:42 2017 [482] 2017-06-19 11:18:43 info discover: finished at Mon Jun 19 11:18:43 2017 [482] 2017-06-19 11:18:43 info discover: status done: Ended discover
for 192.168.10.30

It finishes very soon.

Best regards.

Thanks, here is a screenshot: http://imgur.com/OZmfeX0
