The following error and patch applies only to users of the Perl distribution of News Clipper. If you have upgraded to a newer version of HTML::Parser recently, you will have encountered the following error: Can't find '_hparser_xs_state' element in HTML::Parser hash at NewsClipper/Parser.pm line 48. As a temporary patch for this problem, edit your Parser.pm file using a text editor, and delete the "new" subroutine. (The lines starting at "sub new" and ending at the first "}" you encounter.) There should be two such places in the file. To find your Parser.pm file, run News Clipper once with the -d flag, and all the modules it uses will be displayed in the output.
