I saw the same issue when building new nfsen boxes on 16.04:

Previous sources entries which had worked like
'ix-rtr1' => { 'port' => '9001', 'col' => '#00ff00' },
had to be changed to
'ix_rtr1' => { 'port' => '9001', 'col' => '#00ff00' },
However I did not attempt to migrate existing data. *Maybe* simply
renaming the RRD files would be sufficient?
