I just learned of a very interesting resource, and that is an entire
semester long class in NLP (based on the Jurafsky and Martin text)
with Chris Manning of Stanford, well known in the NLP world and author
of several very fine books on NLP and IR.

This is pretty remarkable to have available, and I would strongly
recommend taking advantage of it. It could be a nice refresher if you
haven't had NLP in a while, and if you haven't had an NLP class before
this is a great place to start.
