Hmm....I don't know wich version of NP++ you are using, but I can't reproduce
this bug....At step 4, NP++ tell me that the file doesn't exist, and ask me
if I want to create it or not.
And THERE IS a refresh button...But still it would be great that it refresh
alone! ;)

Did you *right click* on the ghost file entry or did you double click on it
? If I double click on it, NP++ handles it the way you describe it, but if I
right click on it (in order to access the context menu), NP++ crashes. I'm using
the last version of NP++ (4.0.2) and probably the last version of the Explorer
plugin (1.1 RC).
I didn't see the update button, but I found it now, thanks ;)

4.02: After closing the "Find" dialog box, keyboard focus does not return to
the text editor. I have to click on the editor to get my text cursor back.

What about a control alt + scrool down/up to change notepad++ transparency?

I have the same in WinXP SP2. When the main editor window get's focuis again:
keyboard focus does not return to the text editor. I have to click on the editor
to get my text cursor back

Another thing in a similar vein that I just discovered today: When you hold
the right mouse button, and use the scroll wheel to switch between documents,
the document list appears centered in the Notepad++ window. If this could also
be adjusted to be only on the left monitor, that would be great, since right
now it appears exactly between my two screens.

Improve column mode. Endeed column mode in notepad++ is verry unuserfriendly.
It could be verry good to implement column mode as in Crimson Editor or
UltraEdit

An other thing is to dissociate comment/decomment menu. Endeed when you are
writing VHDL, sometimes you want to comment a large part of your code. Some
couls part could already contains comments so you don't want to decomment this
area but add a second level of comment which will be remove when you choose
to decomment all the area.
I m not that my explainations are good, but it could be verry usefull.
I am a new user of notepad++ from few much, and want to congratulate you for
your verry good job.
