Justin, I just found this in the MS Newsgroups, see if it helps? They're getting the same thing... -------------------------------------
I had the same problem, following steps solved the problem: - install hotfix q315074 (ris server) - install (copy) hotfix q315074 for w2k/xp client (.. new 'ntldr') - download/extract the latest intel pro100 drivers (pro2kxpm.exe)and copy them into the appropriate dirs on ris-server - stop/start binl service on ris-server. it should work now, but only if you have 100Mbit network connection. if you have 10Mbit connection, the effect is, as you wrote: -------------------------------------- Cheers, Tony -----Original Message----- From: W2K Discussions [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2002 5:08 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Intel Pro 100VE (onboard) with RIS Has anyone gotten this card to work with a ris install? The card starts fine with the ris install (f12)... but then craps out with the typical error: The system image you selected does not contain the necessary drivers for your network adapter. Try selecting a different operating system image. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. so then I add the drivers as stated in the MS KB, then I keep searching, and it tells me to update the bios/rom. So I then use the intel ibautil.exe to try and upgrade the nic... but no go - doesn't work as it should.... Does anyone use these cards/motherboard?
