with the alpha and luatex 0.41, I get no hyphenation for Greek. The
pattern file is loaded, so it may be a problem with luatex itself.
Example:

{\agr \hyphenatedword{φιλοσοφία}}
\stoptext
Works with beta, not with alpha.
