"texexec --xtx myfile": creates and populates myfile.bbl, and bib works ok
Then,
"context myfile": myfile.bbl is still there but is now **empty**!!
And no more references...

hard to test ... anyway, Thomas Schmitz is coordinating the bib tests so
best coordinate with him
