ok
my fix solves only one problem, there is another one in this example which I
can't fix
the numbers in the subitem appear as a.a. and a.b. instead of 1.a. and 1.b.
only with the repeated i assume so it's a local problem ... you can add
an item to the tracker (i'm in the middle of something else now)
