Hans,

Normally, I do refer first to Martin Vogel's set, but in this case I just needed a symbol from Roland's set. Do I take it then to mean the symb-was is not Mk IV compatible?

Thanks.

I am trying to use some of the symbols from Roland Waldi's symbols

I looked for the 'symb-was.*' file, and came across only this;

/opt/context/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/symb-was.mkii

I notice that there doesn't seem to be a .mkiv version of this set.
Could this be the problem?

The minimal example was simply:

\usesymbols[was]
\showsymbolset[wasy general]

best look in the symb-imp-mvs
