Hi Hans, using latest beta from 2015.07.01 21:40, both options work for me: \language[nl] %~ \startexceptions[nl] %~ Ams-terd-am %~ \stopexceptions \hyphenation{Ams-terd-am} \starttext \hyphenatedword{Amsterdam} \stoptext BTW, I have to change the hyphenation points, since the proposed exception is the default hyphenation in Dutch. Or how did you know that the exceptions weren’t working? I hope it helps, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk ___________________________________________________________________________________ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___________________________________________________________________________________
