Just found that the code below does not work as intended, because \๐๐ข๐ฆ will be 
parsed as \๐ followed by ๐ข๐ฆ. Canโ€™t tell if it ought to be changed, though one 
could think other cases where it might be natural. The command definition of \๐ 
works though.
