Hi Sylvain, on my computer (TL2020) I am not able to compile \blank with any command defining the dimension (2\paperheight, 0.25\paperheight, .25\paperheight). I do not know why...
But if I use another dimension, eg. 5*big or 20cc, it works with \dontleavehmode: \starttext \dontleavehmode \blank[5*big] %\blank[20cc] foo \stoptext Maybe it will help you.
