There may be some host health flags associated with this - but not sure if you
want to see something on a per interface or per network level. Off the top of
my head I'm not sure if nTop can provide what you ask "out of the box" so to
speak, but I'll dig a little. Maybe a NIDS or Firewall product would track
this info better?

Subject: [Ntop] Syn Packets Ratio

Hi all,

First of all, let me tell you that I'm new to Ntop. I discovered it recently
when looking for a way of characterize some network traffic. What I was
wondering is if is it possible to get some syn packet statistics in order to
know the ratio of syn packets vs rest of packets in a global and per protocol
way. Can anybody help me? Right now I'm capturing a huge amount of data, and I
want to get as much info as possible of the characteristics of the traffic :-)

Thanks!

Best Regards,
