Hi folks,
on a quick computer system with Windows 10 on a SSD installed I saw that
our startup script was failing with event 1129
<https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc727335%28v=ws.10%29.aspx>
followed by 1130:
SupportInfo1 0
SupportInfo2 0
ErrorCode 267
ErrorDescription The directory name is invalid.
ScriptType 0
During my investigation I found a Microsoft Support page
<https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/938449/netlogon-event-id-5719-or-group-policy-event-1129-is-logged-when-you-start-a-domain-member>
which also states to set DisableDHCPMediaSense to "1".
That actually works and the startupscript is running again.
Does anyone know if there is a better solution or another way because
this is a problem if it comes to notebooks and mobile devices.
