I would try the office uninstallers first. These are from Microsoft product support. https://github.com/OfficeDev/Office-IT-Pro-Deployment-Scripts/tree/master/Office-ProPlus-Deployment/Remove-PreviousOfficeInstalls

We originally installed Office 2013 Standard but after a few days we realized it was the incorrect version. So we uninstalled 2013, and installed 2016 Standard. We are using media and MAK key from VLSC. After installation, when we try to activate Office, it appears that it activates fine but after we close the activation window, the warning to activate Office is still there. We've tried uninstalling with Revo Uninstaller to clean everything up. We then tried a reinstall and it activated fine but a few days later, it started to prompt for activation again. Any ideas? I really don't want to call Microsoft for this. Thanks, Jimmy
