I used to love nvidia ( I never used any better than some 7600, I forget which). Somewhere along the way we (at the old company) found the current ATIs to be better bang for the buck. After years of back and forth between the 2 companies, I really couldn't care less which one we get. I just check around the various review places (plus Tom's hardware) and pick a decent current one. Probably a 285 or a 4870.
