Sami Siren commented on NUTCH-351:
----------------------------------

As the plugin name says it by using a protocol-forwardproxy acts as a protocol
plugin and does not need additional protocol plugins to function (fot the
protocols proxy knows about, usually http, https, ftp). The motivation was to
take advantage of proxys (possibly better as usually implemented in c)
networking capabilities and also perhaps work as a base for nio based solution
for those three protocols for a price of one. It is in no means a complete
package but a beginning.
