I have Nutch 0.5 installed in two computers. The firs with a Pentium III and the other one an Athlon 2.6. Both have Fedora 2. In the pentium machine I can index without any problems sites like http://www.nrc.gov, but in the Athlon I receive an error message indicating something like the site is not a pdf application.
Any ideas?
I too have seen strange things on Athlon. Are JVM's known to be flaky on Athlons?
