This afternoon, at about 4:45, there were 4 immature GREATER WHITE- FRONTED GEESE in the corn field along Rte 114, East Hampton (Suffolk Co.). These are undoubtedly the same birds that have been present in the vicinity of Hook Pond since the first week of January, although I haven't heard any recent reports of them.
