While enjoying the Long Island Ducks game in Central Islip tonight three Common Nighthawks appeared for a couple of minutes in the bottom of the third inning, flying around the bright outfield lights, hawking for insects. They soon left and one returned for a minute or two in the top of the sixth inning hawking around the left field lights.
For those interested in baseball the Long Island Ducks beat the York Revolution 13-7.
