On Thursday,at the New York Botanical Garden, a Prothonotary warbler was observed by the Twin Lakes. The warbler has posed for pictures by sitting on a rock and seems very people friendly. Martin Carney, Melanie Barotte and Lavinia Miro have reported that the warbler looks and acts a lot like the Manhattan PW that made The New York Public Library home for many weeks after warbler season. What are the chances?
We will look for the bird on the 11am birdwalk today.
