Just in case anyone wants to avoid the Belt Parkway, the Gray-hooded Gull is only 2 blocks from the Coney Island subway station (D, F, N & Q- that I can think of at the moment). I took the D yesterday, and it was a nice A/C'd way to get there. Just try to avoid rush hour:)
