There was a Dickcissel in a flock of Cowbirds and House Sparrows in the hedgerow of goldenrod and pokeweed across from house #24 (Pierson Rd.?) at the Georgica Assoc. this afternoon.
A large movement of birds passed over between 10 and 11pm in the mist. Swainson's and Gray-cheeked Thrushes, Common Yellowthroats, Redstarts, Palms, Yellow-rumps, Blackpolls, Scarlet Tanager, Savannah, Chipping, White-throated and one exuberant Grasshopper Sparrow.
