Yesterday (Th. 5-31-12), the male did show up in the morning and in the afternoon. Apparently, the female has not been seen in the past couple of days and people suspect that she may be in the nest. BTW, the best time to see the bird (based on the behavior of the male Kite) is early in the morning (7-9AM) and late in the afternoon (5-6PM).
