This morning at Theodore Roosevelt C.P. in the 'pocket grasslands' (dry ponds full of seeding sedges) near the HQ building. There also were 14 Bobolinks, 3 Indigo Buntings and an assortment of common sparrows.
Still a few Cory's Shearwaters visible from Camp Hero this morning - along with the usual 'goat rodeo' of hundreds of fishing boats chasing back and for after a few False Albacore. Lots of Phoebes, Palm Warblers and Yellow-rumped Warblers moving this morning, but couldn't pick up anything unusual in the time I had. -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/NYSB.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
