Walked the fields on the southern side of Town Lane in Amagansett, NY with Jim Ash, Jane Ross and my sister Barbara. The notable birds of the day were a *Blue Grosbeak* found in the southernmost field, a few *Bobolinks*in the fenced field abutting the road, and a *Dickcissel.* * * Also noteworthy were the large numbers of *Palm Warblers* (at least 25 - 30) and* Indigo Buntings* (at least 20-25).
