I had looked with Vinnie Pellegrino on Tuesday afternoon for the crossbill
flock but we came up empty, staying from about 3 PM till dark. This afternoon I
tried again from about 2:45 to 3:45 and had 1 female type WW Crossbill only.
There were also a pair of Tufted Titmouse with the chickadees - don't know if
that's unusual - they are rare on the barrier beaches further west
