Thanks to a birder on 5th Ave. for pointing out the location of the
AMERICAN WOODCOCK just as I was submitting my checklist. One of the birds
has moved to the southeast storage area on the 40th St. side of the park.
It was under the hedges to the east of the London Plane tree on the upper
level of the storage area.
On the lawn was a PALM WARBLER along with at least 11 SONG SPARROWS.
