JIM CULLEN AND I SCOPED AN ADULT SANDWICH TERN TODAY AT 3:30 ON A SAND BAR  
SEVERAL HUNDRED YARDS WEST OF THE CUPSOGUE BEACH FLATS IN WESTHAMPTON.WE VIEWED 
THE BIRD AT CLOSE RANGE FOR 15 MINUTES AND RECORDED SEVERAL PHOTOS. THE SAND 
BAR IS ONLY REACHED BY SKIFF,BUT BIRDERS VISITING CUPSOGUE SHOULD BE ON THE 
LOOKOUT.
