After my initial sighting of the owl earlier this morning, it remained among
the barges. The workers enjoyed it's company and thought it was "cool" and
"awesome". I work on this sight and saw no signs of harassment. I last saw the
owl at 4:00 pm on a barge with piles on it. No humans around and very minimal
boat traffic at this hour since the work day is almost done That is most
likely where the bird will stay for the night since it had its eyes closed as I
passed by. Piermont Pier and the river towns on both sides of the Hudson should
keep their eyes peeled!
