To add to this seasons Eurasian Wigeon count, I observed a handsome drake near the south end of Mill Pond in Centerport around noon today. The bird was feeding with 6 American Wigeon and 10 Gadwall before it decided to leave the group and head north. It looked like it may have put down just south of Mill Dam Road. The 40+ Canvasback, as described by Brent Bomkamp, were also present.
