The dove was first found this morning and reported by someone else to ebird and also the Manhattan text messaging system. When I sent out the last post I forgot that it wasn't sent to the listserv prior to me sending out the email. To clarify this bird is being seen at a park called Chelsea waterside park it is on the corner of 11th Ave. and 23rd St. in Manhattan. The dove was reported to eBird about a week or so ago across the Westside Highway at Pier 63. This is basically across the street from the park with the bird was seen today. Sorry if my prior post caused any confusion. On a different note it sure would be nice if there was one centralized system all of this information was shared Isaac Grant Senior Loan Officer --
