Went looking for sparrows today. There were good numbers of grasshopper sparrows at EPCAL in Calverton, perhaps due to a number of juveniles trying out their wings. I was also happy to see that the Lark sparrow was still present near the volleyball courts east of the Field 2 parking lot at Robert Moses mid morning today.
