This morning around 8:30 Bobby Rosetti and I heard a Kentucky warbler singing
from dense shrubery in the southern end of the preserve. We never saw it, and
apparently it was staying low. We heard it from trail 7(per the reserve map),
the main paved east west path starting at the route 106 entrance. The bird was
actually south of the trail, well before the walled garden, not really
accessible from any path. Also heard or seen were some of the breeders: YB
Cuckoo, Blue-winged Warbler, Scarlet Tanagers among others
