Currently, five American Avocet are being seen at Squires Pond, Hampton Bays. Four are still in breeding plumage. Squires pond is accessible from East Landing Rd, off Newtown Rd. Newtown Rd is off Squiretown/Red Creek Rd. Found a short while ago by Vince Cagno and his children. The birds are still present.
