A WOOD STORK was photographed on private property in the Town of Eden, Erie County on Friday. The bird, apparently, roosted overnight in a pine tree but disappeared Saturday morning before 9:00 a.m. and has not been seen since. The only location information that I have received is that it was on East Church Road.
I would suggest that birders check ponds in the vicinity. Good birding!
