Hi everyone, No phalarope at either the pond or from observation platform at Cow Meadow this norning. I don't know where else it might have been.
MNSA in Oceanside had a White-crowned Sparrow west of the building, spotted by Joe Viglietta. Also a vocal Clappper Rail. No hummingbird sightings since Thursday as Sy reported. It had been seen by NE corner of the parking area. Photos are on the MNSA Facebook page. Others reported a Clay-colored Sparrow at the Jones Beach west end 2 turnaround. Lots of the regular sparrows at Baldwin Park and nearby Mill Creek Park as well. No Ammodramus species seen anywhere.
