Just spotted this on eBird rare bird photo stream: Red-breasted Goose spotted by Claire Mulder yesterday 10/20/16 at 5pm on way to Staten Island Ferry. Photos embedded in checklist below.

It was walking over the rocks on the shore and looked like it was picking around for food. It had a striking brownish red neck and the rest of it was black and white. I took a picture of it and sent it to my brother in law.
