Highlights: Red-breasted Nuthatch, Cedar Waxwings, & Swamp Sparrows. Thanks to 
Linda Yuen & Mayra Cruz for spotting many of today's birds. 

Gadwall - 4 Meer
American Black Duck - 1 Meer
Mallard - around 40 Meer + Indian Runner Duck (domestic Mallard) continues
Northern Shoveler - 26 Meer
Ruddy Duck - 34 Meer
Mourning Dove - at least 15
Ring-billed Gull - Meer & flyovers
Herring Gull - flyovers
Great Black-backed Gull - flyover
Accipiter species - flying low with prey from N. Meadow Ball Fields to Loch
Red-tailed Hawk - immature perched, one or two others circling overhead
Red-billed Woodpecker - several
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - Conservatory Garden
Downy Woodpecker - 2 males Conservatory Garden
Blue Jay - 7 or 8
American Crow - heard
Black-capped Chickadee - Loch
Tufted Titmouse - 5
Red-breasted Nuthatch - Green Bench
White-breasted Nuthatch - 2 Blockhouse
Carolina Wren - singing west of Conservatory Garden (Deb before walk)
Hermit Thrush - 3 (Conservatory Garden & Blockhouse)
American Robin - many
Northern Mockingbird - 5
Cedar Waxwing - flock of 13 Conservatory Garden (Deb before walk)
American Goldfinch - Ridge Trail North Woods
Song Sparrow - 4 (Meer & Nutter's Battery)
Swamp Sparrow - 2 Meer
White-throated Sparrow - many
Dark-eyed Junco - 20+ Great Hill & Blockhouse
Northern Cardinal - residents
Blackbird Flock - 60+ birds flying west
Common Grackle - a few

After lunch many birders saw the continuing Yellow-breasted Chat at Trinity 
Church along with half-a-dozen Hermit Thrushes, a Winter Wren, Dark-eyed Junco, 
and White-throated Sparrows. 

Susan Kirby tweeted a Great Blue Heron at the Pond.
