Highlights: Hairy Woodpecker, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Fox 
Sparrow, Brown Thrasher, Gray Catbird, and Great Blue Heron. Thanks to Andrea 
Hessel, MD, and Sandra Critelli for spotting many of today's birds. 

Canada Goose - 6 Lake
Wood Duck - male at the Pond
Mallard - many
American Black Duck - male & female at the Pond
Northern Shoveler - 2 Lake, around 20 Turtle Pond
Hooded Merganser - 3 (2 males, 1 female) Turtle Pond
Mourning Dove
Great Blue Heron - immature at the Pond
American Coot - the Pond
Sharp-shinned Hawk - immature Balancing Rock
Red-tailed Hawk - some perched, some flying
Red-bellied Woopecker - residents
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - 2 Sparrow Rock
Downy Woodpecker - residents
Hairy Woodpecker - male Upper Lobe
Northern Flicker - 2 Strawberry Fields
Blue Jay - many
Black-capped Chickadee- at least 5
Tufted Titmouse - 22
White-breasted Nuthatch - 11-12
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 1 Pinetum
American Robin - many
Gray Catbird - feeders
Brown Thrasher - Maintenance Field
Northern Mockingbird - Sparrow Rock
House Finch - male & female feeders
American Goldfinch - feeders & Upper Lobe (Sweetgum)
Song Sparrow - Hernshead & Strawberry Fields
White-throated Sparrow - many
Dark-eyed Junco - not many - Great Lawn & Strawberry Fields
