This morning George Chiu found a Ross's Goose with a group of Canada geeseat Boland Pond in Chenango, NY. The bird didn't stay long and flew offto the south. I re-found the bird within a grouping of Canada Geese at Chenango Bridge Park in Chenango, NY later in the morning. The bird continues in this general area as oflate afternoon. This is the second time in the last 4 weeks that Ross's Geese have been recorded in Broome County. Before this, we have never recorded a Ross's Goose in Broome County before!!
