Hi Everyone,

I just spoke with Mike Chamberlain (Traverse City, MI) - earlier update was
from a voice mail. He planned to stay in Watertown last night, but the
roads were great, so he kept going and made it to Tupper Lake. He was on
the Tupper Lake causeway at 7 a.m. He found the Ross's Gull by 7:20 a.m.
just north of the boat launch. People in a brown house to the north of the
boat launch have thrown out food - Mike thinks it may be a large chunk of
frozen fish. Many people along Tupper Lake feed Bald Eagles in winter, and
it is possible the food was thrown out for them. The Ross's Gull chased a
Common Raven away from the food. The gull flies away when a Bald Eagle
flies in to feed, but it has been returning.

Mike and his wife are heading to Niagara Falls next to look at gulls!
