Counting is underway for the 29th consecutive season at the Franklin Mt. 
Hawkwatch, sponsored by the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society, near 
Oneonta, NY.  Broad-winged Hawks are on the move and will be building up 
through the middle two weeks of September.


         Visitors and spotters are always welcome at the hawkwatch.  For

         Forecasts of anticipated good flights at the hawkwatch are sent 
out by email a day or two in advance.  To receive these alerts, visit
