There were plenty of birds at Point Lookout today including 28 purple sandpipers, 4 harlequin ducks and a continuing first winter male King Eider. The eider was off the second easternmost pile of rocks (just trying to keep safe on terminology). That guy sure could hold his breath because he dissapeared for over 25 minutes before resurfacing (though I might have missed it if he briefly resurfaced just behind the rocks). Video at this link:
