I’m at Brooklyn Army terminal now. A combination of a peregrine and some fast vehicles put all the Gulls up off the pier, but before they did, I was able to scan the Gull flock carefully, and all the smaller Laruses were definitely ring-billed. Two birders here told me that they had checked bush terminal park without success, but I am seeing some birds that look like they are heading north.
